We recently celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Consulting Surveyors Victoria. Held at the incredible Eureka 89 and proudly sponsored by CR Kennedy survey solutions, the event brought together current and past Board and Committee members who have all played a role in shaping CSV and the surveying profession over the past five decades.

A highlight of the afternoon was hearing from five past CSV Presidents, who took us on a memorable journey through the history of the last 50 years, the evolution of consulting surveying and the people who helped build the strong organisation we have today.

We were also pleased to welcome Josh Bull, whose attendance recognised the important role surveyors continue to play in supporting Victoria’s land development, infrastructure and housing future.

Most importantly, the day was simply fun. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, reflect, share stories and celebrate the friendships and professional relationships that underpin our profession.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a special occasion.

Our next major celebration with member firms will be the EISSI Awards at The Arts Centre Melbourne on 10 October 2026 — and we look forward to continuing the celebrations with the broader surveying community.
